Run a faceless YouTube channel from one editor.

Doodle explainer · 16:9
History documentary · 16:9
Creepy cartoon · 16:9

Sample clips of three 16:9 looks. They show each look, not a finished episode.

One channel, one repeatable routine.

  1. 1

Fix the look and the voice

Pick a 16:9 look and a narrator once, and save your voice, caption style and art style as your brand defaults so every new video starts the same way.

  2. 2

    Write the episode

Paste your script, or have the AI writer draft one up to 10 minutes from your topic, theme and tone. This is the part that makes the channel yours, so spend your time here.

  3. 3

    Generate, review, export

Clippie draws a scene for each line and adds the voice and captions. Change any scene, then export at 1920x1080 and upload it yourself.

Before you start a channel. What matters most.

Pick a niche you can write about every week

A faceless channel lives on its scripts. Choose a subject you can keep researching after the first ten ideas run out: one period of history, one kind of money question, one kind of scary story. A narrow subject also tells YouTube who to show the video to.

  • Explainers: The Doodle explainer template suits money, law and how things work.
  • History: The History documentary and Ancient epic templates suit archive and empire stories.
  • Horror and mystery: The Creepy cartoon and True crime templates suit long late-night stories.
  • Family: The Kids cartoon and 3D animated film templates suit stories for younger viewers.

What YouTube asks of AI videos

YouTube’s monetization rules exclude mass-produced, repetitive content, and they name AI videos made from generic templates with no original insight. They do not ban AI tools. A video built on your own research, your own script and your own angle is on the right side of that line. The same prompt repeated with different nouns is not.

YouTube also asks you to disclose realistic altered or synthetic content when you upload. Check the current wording in YouTube Help, because these rules change.

What stays your job

Clippie makes the video file. Choosing topics, checking facts, writing the title, designing the thumbnail, uploading and replying to comments are yours. Clippie does not post to your channel.

Built for episodes. Not one-offs.

  • Brand defaults

Save a favourite voice, caption style, art style and frame so each episode starts the same.

  • Recurring characters

Save up to 300 characters in your library and bring a host or a mascot back in any story.

  • Scripts up to 10 minutes

The AI writer drafts up to 10 minutes. Paste a longer script of your own if you have one.

  • Normal or Fast pacing

Normal holds a scene for 5 to 8 seconds. Fast cuts every 2 to 3 seconds.

  • Your logo on every video

Add your own image or text watermark from the brand kit. Paid plans carry no Clippie watermark.

  • Captions in 100+ languages

Word-timed captions, and narration in other languages if you run a second channel.

Frequently asked questions.

Can a faceless YouTube channel be monetized?

Yes, if YouTube accepts it into the Partner Program, which depends on your channel meeting its thresholds and your content being original. Clippie does not affect that decision and cannot promise any result. Your own scripts and a clear point of view are what YouTube looks for.

How many videos can I make a month?

That depends on your plan’s export minutes: Lite 60, Creator 240, Pro 500 minutes a month. Voice minutes match the export minutes on each plan, and a 10-minute video uses 10 of each.

Does Clippie upload to YouTube for me?

No. You export an MP4 and upload it yourself, so the title, thumbnail, description and schedule stay in your hands.

Should I make long-form videos or Shorts?

They suit different goals, and many channels do both. Every look works in 16:9 and 9:16, so you can cut a teaser for Shorts from the same script. Start with the length you can write well every week.

Do I have to show up or use my voice?

No. Pick from 125 AI voices, search a much larger voice library, or import your own voice from ElevenLabs.

What does a video use from my plan?

Drawing the scene pictures and editing are included. The voiceover uses voice minutes and the finished export uses export minutes. Animating scenes is optional and uses AI credits, and the price shows before you start.
