Six of the ten 3D looks, each three animated scenes of one short story. The characters stay the same from scene to scene.
How to make a 3D animated video. Four steps.
- 1
Pick a 3D look
3D animated film for family-film stories, Pixar 3D for cute animals and kids, Claymation for stop-motion, Toy brick, Blocky voxel or Low poly for games.
- 2
Write the story
Paste a script or let the AI writer draft one from an idea, a tone and a length. Add your characters so they look the same in every scene.
- 3
Generate and animate
Clippie splits the script into scenes and draws each one. Animate one scene or all of them with AI image-to-video.
- 4
Voice, caption and export
Pick a narrator and a voice style, style the captions, add music and export in 9:16 or 16:9.
3D looks with their own pages. See more of each.
A 3D studio in a text box. No modelling, rigging or rendering.
Ten 3D looks
Fruit people, 3D animated film, Pixar 3D, Kids cartoon, Claymation, Toy brick, Blocky voxel, Low poly, Lego and Minecraft.
Characters that stay the same
Give each character a name, a “Looks like” line and a picture. Every scene they are in uses that picture, so the same face turns up in scene 1 and scene 40.
Animate every scene
Turn any scene, or all of them at once, into a moving clip with AI image-to-video, priced in AI credits before it starts.
Narrated or talking
One narrator with a voice style (Calm, Warm, Energetic, Dramatic and more), or switch to Characters talk and let the characters speak.
Write it for me
Type an idea and pick about 30 seconds, 1 minute or 2 minutes. The writer gives every character lines, with a hook first and a payoff last.
9:16 or 16:9
Vertical for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, or widescreen for YouTube. Export in 1080p.
Frequently asked questions.
Can AI make a 3D animated video?
Yes. In Clippie’s AI Story you pick a 3D look, write or generate a script, and AI draws every scene in that look, animates it with an image-to-video model, narrates it and adds captions. There is no 3D modelling or rendering on your side.
Which 3D styles are there?
Ten: 3D animated film, Pixar 3D, Kids cartoon, Fruit people, Claymation, Toy brick, Blocky voxel, Low poly, Lego and Minecraft. Every look works in 9:16 and 16:9 (Fruit people is made for 9:16). Clippie is not affiliated with Pixar, Disney, Lego, Mojang or Microsoft; those names describe the art style.
How do characters look the same in every scene?
Each character has a picture and a “Looks like” line. On looks marked with the standing-figure icon (including Fruit people, 3D animated film, Kids cartoon, Claymation and the stickman looks), every scene a character is in gets their picture as a reference. The other looks keep characters consistent from the “Looks like” line.
Are the scenes animated or still?
Each scene starts as a drawn picture. Animate one scene, or every scene at once, and it becomes a moving clip. Animation uses AI credits from your plan, priced per scene before it starts.
Can the 3D characters talk?
Yes. Switch the story to Characters talk to give each character their own voice and lines, then “Make them talk” turns each scene into a lip-synced talking clip. Or make a single 3D character talk on the Talking page in AI Studio.
How long can a 3D animated video be?
The AI script writer drafts up to 10 minutes, and you can paste a longer script of your own. Long videos suit 16:9 for YouTube; Shorts, TikTok and Reels suit 30 to 60 seconds in 9:16.
